Steps:
- 1. Pour chicken stock into a baking dish about an inch and a half deep. Layer cabbage, onion and bacon. Season with black pepper to taste. Dot with butter.
- 2. Cover and bake in a preheated 325-degree oven for about 30 to 40 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking.
