Rum has been associated with the Bahamas since the days of pirates. But you don't have to wait to take a trip to the Caribbean to enjoy this pretty pink tropical drink. Because you can make this rum-based drink yourself, and bring the Bahamas to you. Any dark rum will work, but it's even more authentic if you're lucky enough...

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 oz dark rum
1/2 oz coconut rum
1/2 oz apricot brandy
1/2 oz banana liqueur
1/4 oz grenadine syrup
2 oz orange juice or pineapple juice (or a blend of the two)
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/4 oz honey
3 ice cubes
1 orange slice or pineapple wedge, for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Place all ingredients (except fruit garnish) in a blender, and blend several seconds, until smooth and frothy.
  • 2. Pour into a tall glass, garnish with an orange slice or pineapple wedge, and serve.
