Bacon,Gruyere & Endive quiche image

How to make Bacon,Gruyere & Endive quiche

Number Of Ingredients 7

8 slices thick cut bacon,chopped
4 Heads Clifornia endive
4 oz Gruyere cheese grated(about l cup)
1 cup heavy cream
l clove garlic,pressed
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 350F abd grease pie plate well.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat,cook bacon until crisp. Remove with slotted spoon and drain all but l Tbsp of fat from skillet.
  • Layer endive,bacon and cheese in pie plate. Whisk together eggs,cream,garlic,salt&pepper until well combined. Pour over filling in pie plate. Bake 30 minutes or until top is puffy and golden brown & quiche is set and no longer jiggles.
  • Serves 6. 12.8 carbs,10 fiber
