Bacon Bites image

I got this recipe from my husband's cousin, Ami Barber. She brings them to family functions and they are gobbled up pretty quickly. One of my all-time favorites. Hope you enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 lb bacon, uncooked
1 c soy sauce, low sodium
2 can(s) water chestnuts, whole
toothpicks

Steps:

  • 1. Slice whole water chestnuts in half. Marinate the chestnuts about 30 mins. in soy sauce.
  • 2. Open bacon package and cut each slice into three pieces.
  • 3. Wrap each chestnut in a piece of bacon securing with a toothpick. Bake at 375 degrees until bacon is cooked to desired doneness. Serve warm.
