- preheat oven to 350 toast pecans about 10 minutes add 1/2 tbl butter and 1/4 tsp salt coat the nuts melt remaining 2 1/2 tbl margarine over moderate heat add garlic, cook about 1 minute increase heat to moderate high, add sprouts, saute about 5 minutes add lemon juice, salt and pepper, stir in pecans serve
