Aunt Pat's Rhubarb cream cake image

This cake is Heavenly! Its a custard cake and It is super easy! Hint* When you serve each indiviual peice, Serve Upside down.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 box white cake mix (i prefer pillsbury over betty crocker)
4 c rhubrb
1 c sugar
1 pt heavy whipping cream

Steps:

  • 1. Mix cake mix as directions given. Put in a greased cake pan.
  • 2. Gently put diced up rhubarb onto uncooked cake mix.
  • 3. Then sprinkle the 1 cup of sugar onto the rhubarb.
  • 4. Slowly drizzle the whole pint of cream onto the sugar.
  • 5. Bake for 50-55 minutes at 350, You will be able to tell when its done when the top is golden brown and the sides of the cake is slightly detatched from the cake pan.
