Aunt Betty's Carrot Cake & Frosting Recipe image

Number Of Ingredients 17

Cake
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
4 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. grated carrots
1 1/4 c. oil
dash salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Frosting
8 oz. cream cheese
16 oz. powdered sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Steps:

  • Cake 1. Mix eggs, sugar and oil. 2. Add flour, salt, soda and spices. Add carrots. 3. Bake at 325 for 110 minutes. Frosting 1. Cream butter and cheese until smooth. 2. Add sugar and vanilla.
