ASIAN STYLE CRAB CAKES image

2 2/3 cups fresh crab meat, white and brown
1 tbspn grated fresh ginger
2 tbpsn plain all-purpose flour
4 tbpsn sunflower oil
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Put crab meat in bowl and add ginger, salt and pepper and the flour. Stir well until thoroughly mixed. Using floured hands, divide mixture into 16 equalized pieces and shape roughly into patties. Heat oil and add patties four at a time. Cook for 2-3 mins on each side, until golden. Remove with spatula and leave to drain on paper for a few mins. Keep cooked crab cakes warm while you cook remaining patties. Serve immediately.
