Steps:
- ~ Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place one of the prepared pie crusts in a deep pie dish. Toss sliced apples and rhubarb with lemon juice. In a large ziplock bag combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt and mix together in bag. Add apples and rhubarb and seal bag. Toss to distribute sugar mixture. Place in prepared pie dish. Distribute the 2 tablespoons of butter over the apples and rhubarb. Roll out the remaining pie crust and place over the apples. Crimp edges and prick top with a fork. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes then reduce heat to 350 and bake for an additional 40 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
