- 1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.
- 2. In a large bowl, beat crust ingredients with electric mixer on low speed until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
- 3. Press into prepared pan.
- 4. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool about 30 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 degrees.
- 5. Spoon pie filling evenly over crust.
- 6. In a medium bowl mix dry crumble ingredients. Cut in butter with a fork or fingers until crumbly.
- 7. Sprinkle evenly over filling and press lightly.
- 8. Bake 40 minutes or until crumble is a light brown.
- 9. Cool completely, about two hours, then cut into bars.
