7-UP Pound Cake image

My children and grands love this cake.

Number Of Ingredients 7

3 stick unsated butter, softened
3 c sugar
5 large eggs
3 c sifted all-purpose flour
1 c 7-up
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp pure lemon extract

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven 325 degrees, spray a bundt pan with bakers joy or your favorite baking spray. Set aside.
  • 2. In your mixing bowl, add the butter and sugar and mix until fluffy on medium about 2-3 minutes. Add egss one at a time mixing well after each. Add flour alternating with 7-up. add the lemon and vanilla flavorings.
  • 3. Pour into the bundt. Hit on the counter to release all bubbles. Bake in your heated over for one hour or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 15 minutes. Turn onto wire rake or into a serving plate and cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar or your favorite glaze.
