24-Hour Strawberry Dessert image

From Tempting Desserts, this sounds simple and like it would be a real kid pleaser.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 c sliced strawberries
1 c sour cream (or cool whip)
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 dash(es) salt
1 c miniature marshmallows
5 whole strawberries

Steps:

  • 1. Sprinkle strawberries with sugar and let stand 10 minutes.
  • 2. Fold marshmallows and sour cream (or cool whip) into strawberry mixture. Add salt and mix gently.
  • 3. Place in a covered container and store in refrigerator overnight.
  • 4. To serve, spoon into individual serving dishes; garnish with a whole strawberry.
