1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
6 ounces semisweet chocolate (such as Baker's®), chopped
2 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • Heat sweetened condensed milk and chocolate in a heavy saucepan over medium-low heat until chocolate is melted, stirring often, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add butter and stir until melted, about 5 minutes more.

1/2 cup light corn syrup
12 ounces finely chopped semisweet chocolate

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring cream and corn syrup just to a boil, stirring, until syrup has liquefied, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat; whisk in chocolate until melted. Serve hot.

2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
2 cups sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • In saucepan melt butter and chocolate.
  • Add sugar, ev.
  • milk, corn syrup, and vanilla.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Boil for 1 1/2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Let cool about 10 minutes.
  • serve over ice cream.
