REFRESHING RASPBERRY ICED TEA



Refreshing Raspberry Iced Tea image

This is so refreshing on hot, summer days. Just the right amount of sweetness paired with fresh raspberries and you'll know that summer has arrived.

Number Of Ingredients 4

8 1/4 c water, divided
2/3 c sugar
5 individual tea bags
3-4 c unsweetened raspberries

Steps:

  • 1. In large saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Remove from heat and add tea bags. Steep for 5-8 minutes. Discard tea bags. Add 4 cups of water.
  • 2. In another saucepan, bring raspberries and remaining water (1/4 cup) to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 3 minutes. Strain and discard pulp. (I usually use a coffee filter.)
  • 3. Add raspberry juice to the tea mixture. Serve over ice with fresh raspberries to garnish.

2 nectarines ; pitted and sliced
1 pt fresh raspberries
1 lemon ; sliced
20 fresh mint , plus more for garnish
3 c tea , freshly brewed , sweetened to taste and chilled
1 bottle sparkling white wine
ice

Steps:

  • 1. Fill a large pitcher with the nectarines , raspberries , lemon and mint.
  • 2. Then add your favorite tea and let sit for about 5 minutes to infuse.
  • 3. Once you're ready to serve add the sparkling white wine.
  • 4. Pour in glass with ice. Garnish with mint...ENJOY

½ cup white sugar
½ cup powdered lemonade mix (such as Country Time®)

  • Bring the water to a boil in a large pot, and stir in the tea bags, raspberries, and sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
