- Combine beans, tahini, oil, pepper flakes, cumin, coriander, garlic, salt, and lemon juice in food processor bowl and grind into a smooth paste. Transfer to a small dip dish and surround spread with warm pita wedges. This recipe makes a great appetizer, or anytime snack.
- Tidbit: this is a fantastic dish to take to a pot luck or block party -- it's always a hit!

This got many rave reviews on the other site. However, most said it was too thick. So some added about half the liquid from the canned chick peas, a little more olive oil and more lemon juice. I think some roasted red pepper would be good. Good basic recipe that you can adjust to taste, for our tastes I will most likely add more of the seasonings, and add a dash of cayenne too. - Mix 2 tbsp of the hummus with half the lemon juice, the lemon zest and enough water to make a drizzly dressing. Squeeze the grain pouch to separate the grains, then divide between two shallow bowls and toss through the dressing. Top each bowl with a handful of the spinach.

- Drain the can of chickpeas, keeping the water. Gently warm in a microwave, then tip into a food processor with the lemon juice, olive oil, tahini, ground coriander and crushed seeds from the cardamom pods. Blend until smooth - add a splash of chickpea water if it's looking a little dry. Check the seasoning and add more oil and lemon juice to taste. Serve sprinkled with toasted pine nuts and sumac.
