Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups buttermilk baking mix
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • In a bowl, stir in the biscuit mix, milk and cheese just until moistened. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. Mix butter and garlic powder; brush over biscuits. Bake at 475° for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

So yummy! Made these for supper tonight and they were just gobbled up! From Easy Everyday Cooking. Freeze these for up to 1 mth - thaw & reheat in warm (200F) oven for 10 minutes.

1 cup flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup low-fat cheese, grated
2 tablespoons butter
2/3 cup milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Stir in cheddar.
  • Cut in butter using pastry blender or 2 knives until coarse crumbs form.
  • Using fork, stir milk into flour mixture until a soft dough forms.
  • Do not overwork or overmix dough.
  • Drop dough in heaping tablespoonfuls, 1in apart on ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake 15 minutes.

Quick and easy. Not messy like most biscuits are.. You can also use Parmesan cheese instead of cheddar. Also, you can spice it up by adding a 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, or some other seasoning. And if you want them more cheesier you can add 1 cup of cheese (usually what I do)

1 c flour or you can use bizquick
1/2 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp butter
2/3 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven 450 degrees. Cut butter into flour until coarse crumbs form. Using a fork, stir in milk until a soft dough forms add in cheese. Do not overmix the cheese. Drop dough in heaping tablespoons 1 inch apart onto a ungreased baking sheet. Bake about 15 minutes.
