MONTE CRISTO PULL-APART SLIDERS RECIPE BY TASTY

Monte Cristo Pull-Apart Sliders Recipe by Tasty image

Here's what you need: raspberry, granulated sugar, fresh lemon juice, nonstick cooking spray, sweet hawaiian dinner rolls, roasted turkey, honey ham, swiss cheese, large egg, unsalted butter, powdered sugar

Provided by Katie Aubin

Categories     Dinner

Time 3h30m

Yield 12 sliders

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 cups raspberry
½ cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
nonstick cooking spray, for greasing
1 package sweet hawaiian dinner rolls, 12 count
¼ lb roasted turkey, sliced
¼ lb honey ham, sliced
¼ lb swiss cheese, grated
1 large egg, beaten
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
powdered sugar, for dusting

Steps:

  • Make the raspberry jam: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook the raspberries for about 4 minutes, until they start to burst and become very fragrant. Add the sugar and cook, stirring constantly, for 10-15 minutes, until running a spoon through the jam leaves an open trail at the bottom of the pot. Stir in the lemon juice. Remove the pot from the heat and let the jam cool completely. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Make the sliders: Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a small baking sheet with foil, leaving enough overhang so the sides can be used as handles. Grease with nonstick spray.
  • Slice the sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, leaving the individual rolls connected. Place the bottom half in the prepared baking sheet.
  • Layer the turkey and ham on top, making sure to fold the meat to fit inside the individual squares of the rolls, then top with the Swiss cheese.
  • Spread the raspberry jam over the top half of the rolls and place on top of the cheese layer, pressing down lightly.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the egg and melted butter. Liberally brush on top of the rolls.
  • Bake the sliders until the cheese is completely melted and the buns are toasted, 25-30 minutes. If the tops begin to brown too quickly, cover loosely with foil.
  • Remove the sliders from oven and let cool for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a serving platter. Dust lightly with powdered sugar and serve whole so the sliders can be pulled apart.
  • Enjoy!

Make these moreish meatball sliders with tomato sauce and melted cheese for a party or buffet. They're easy to make and the whole family will enjoy them

Provided by Good Food team

Categories     Buffet

Time 45m

Yield Serves 4-6

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 tbsp olive oil
12 beef meatballs
12 small bread rolls (check the bakery section of the supermarket for a batch of rolls that are baked together, so they're still attached to one another)
100g tomato pasta sauce
100g grated mozzarella
50g butter, melted
1 tsp dried oregano
20g grated parmesan

Steps:

  • Heat the oil in a large pan, and fry the meatballs for about 8-10 mins, or until browned and cooked through. Set aside. Heat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4.
  • Carefully split the whole batch of rolls through the middle, ensuring they remain attached at their sides. Lay the bottoms of the rolls in a roasting tin lined with a sheet of scrunched-up baking parchment or foil. Spread the tomato sauce over, then place one meatball on every roll. Sprinkle over the mozzarella, then cover with the tops of the rolls, pressing down gently.
  • Brush with the melted butter, then sprinkle over the oregano and parmesan. Cover with foil and bake for 20 mins, uncovering for the final 5 mins so the tops become golden.

PULL-APART CUBAN SLIDERS

Pull-Apart Cuban Sliders image

Make mini Cuban sandwiches with this fun recipe! The idea is to assemble them as one big sandwich using packaged dinner rolls that can be pulled apart into smaller sliders. My dad will say it's not the authentic way, but you still get the classic pressed sandwich effect by using two skillets.

Provided by Gabriela Rodiles

Categories     main-dish

Time 30m

Yield 4 to 6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 14

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
One 12-pack pull-apart dinner rolls
5 ounces sliced Swiss cheese (about 8 slices)
6 ounces sliced ham (about 6 slices)
4 ounces shredded cooked pork shoulder (about 1 cup), thawed if frozen
1 small dill pickle, finely chopped
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 ripe avocados, halved, pitted and diced
1/2 cup lightly packed cilantro, finely chopped
1 orange, juiced
1 lime, juiced
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Plantain chips, for serving

Steps:

  • Mix the butter and oregano together in a small bowl until combined.
  • Split the attached dinner rolls in half horizontally with a serrated knife, keeping the rolls in each half attached. Set the top half aside. Transfer the bottom half, cut-side down, to a cutting board; spread half of the oregano butter over the top and transfer to a 12-inch cast-iron skillet, butter-side down (cut-side up).
  • Stack the sliced cheese and cut into four equal stacks. Arrange the cheese slices evenly over the roll bottoms in the skillet (the cheese can overlap).
  • Stack the sliced ham and cut into four equal stacks. Arrange the ham slices evenly over the cheese (the ham can also overlap). Scatter the shredded pork evenly over the top.
  • Heat another 12-inch cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Stir the pickles and mustard together in a small bowl and spread on the cut-side of the reserved top half of the rolls, then place it, cut-side down, on the shredded pork to close the sandwich. Spread the remaining oregano butter over the roll tops.
  • Set the skillet with the sandwich over medium-low heat. Carefully place the hot cast-iron skillet directly on top of the sandwich to press and toast the roll tops. Cook until the cheese is melted and the rolls are toasted, about 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, combine the avocado, cilantro, orange juice and lime juice in a medium bowl. Mash and combine with a fork. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Carefully remove the top skillet and use 2 large spatulas to transfer the sandwich to a serving platter. Serve whole with avocado dip and plantain chips, letting guests pull apart their own sliders.

LEFTOVER THANKSGIVING PULL-APART SLIDERS

Leftover Thanksgiving Pull-Apart Sliders image

We take all the best dishes on the holiday table and put them between toasted buns for the easiest party hit -- what's not to like?

Provided by Food Network Kitchen

Time 45m

Yield 12 sliders

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 1/4 cups leftover gravy
2 cups (about 8 ounces) shredded leftover turkey
One 12-pack pull-apart dinner rolls
2 cups leftover stuffing
1/2 cup leftover cranberry sauce
1 heaping cup leftover mashed potatoes, warmed
6 slices provolone
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling

Steps:

  • Combine the gravy and turkey in a medium saucepan and set over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the gravy is hot and bubbling, 3 to 5 minutes. Turn off the heat, cover and set aside.
  • Put a rack in the center of the oven and preheat the broiler.
  • Split the attached dinner rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached. Put the top and bottom halves cut-side up on a baking sheet. Cover the bottom half with the stuffing. Broil until toasted, 1 to 3 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Spread the cut side of the roll tops with cranberry sauce. Cover the stuffing with mashed potatoes, then use the back of a small spoon to make 12 wells (1 for each slider) in the potatoes. Spoon the turkey and gravy into the wells (it will spill over the wells but this is okay) then cover with overlapping slices of provolone. Cover with the roll tops, then brush the tops with the melted butter. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  • Bake until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, 10 to 12 minutes. Serve immediately.
