PUDDING MIX FROSTING RECIPE - (4.2/5)

Steps:
- Using a Kitchen Aid mixer with the whisk attachment (or any whisking contraption) pour pudding mix and heavy whipping cream into the bowl and whisk for 2 to 3 minutes or until stiff. Place in refrigerator to chill if you won't be using for a few hours or just keep on the counter top. Notes: Refrigerating will cause the frosting to get extra thick, so if you plan on piping the frosting out, your hand will get a work out. You can do this with ANY instant pudding mix, just replace the milk called for on the box with heavy whipping cream and whip!
PUDDING & CREAM FROSTING
A simple cream frosting that can be adapted to any flavour of instant pudding. I like using vanilla, lemon, and chocolate flavours. This frosting is especially good on angel food cake, because it is not too sweet.

WHIPPED CREAM MOUSSE FROSTING
A friend of mine requested a light whipped cream mousse-like frosting for her Mother's Day cake. This is what I came up with. If you are looking for a white frosting use clear vanilla and white chocolate pudding. It does require refrigeration.

Steps:
- Beat the whipping cream, instant pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract together with an electric hand mixer in a large bowl until soft peaks start to form. Lift your beater or whisk straight up: the mixture will form soft mounds rather than a sharp peak.
- Fold the whipped topping into the whipping cream mixture to evenly mix. Refrigerate until ready to use.
