- In a saucepan, combine the beans, cheese, butter if desired, onion, garlic, chili powder and hot pepper sauce. Cook over low heat until cheese is melted and dip is heated through. Serve with corn chips.

- Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
- Cover, and cook on high for 1 hour, or on low for 2-3 hours.

Steps:
- 1. Drain beans, reserving 2/3 cups of the liquid
- 2. Mash beans with potato masher until creamy
- 3. Mix together all ingredients
- 4. Heat over very low heat until cheese is fully melted.
- 5. Simmer on very low, very slow heat for 20 minutes. I recommend putting them into crock pot for this...less chance to burn cheese on bottom.
- 6. Serve with hot with Dip Size Frito Chips or Tortilla Chips!
