Chops baked with thin slices of onion and lemon and a sweet and sour topping!

4 (1 1/4 inch) thick pork chops
4 slices onion
4 slices lemon
¼ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup ketchup

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place chops in a 9x13 inch baking dish and top each one with an onion slice and a lemon slice. Add 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1 tablespoon ketchup on top of each pork chop.
  • Cover dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake another 30 minutes or until internal temperature of meat has reached 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). While baking, baste occasionally with pan juices.

3 lbs thick pork chops
1 onion, cut into thin slices
1 lemon, cut in thin slices
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Season pork chops with salt and place in large baking dish.
  • Top each pork chop with an onion slice and a lemon slice.
  • Mix brown sugar and ketchup; spoon a couple of tablespoons over each chop.
  • Cover and bake 1 hour.
  • Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer, basting occasionally.

1 pound pork tenderloin, trimmed and cut into 8 pieces
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons butter
2 kiwifruit, peeled, thinly sliced crosswise
RASPBERRY SAUCE:
6 tablespoons red raspberry preserves
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon ketchup
1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
Fresh raspberries, optional

Steps:

  • Press each tenderloin slice to 1-in. thickness; lightly sprinkle both sides of each slice with cayenne pepper. Heat butter in large heavy skillet over a medium-high heat. Add tenderloin slices; cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side. , Meanwhile, combine all sauce ingredients in small saucepan; simmer over low heat about 3 minutes., stirring occasionally. Keep warm. , Place cooked tenderloin slices on warm serving plate; spoon on sauce and top each tenderloin with kiwi slice. Serve with remaining kiwi slices and fresh raspberries if desired.

1 c tomato soup
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Place tenderloin in center of large sheet of tin foil. Mix remaining ingredients and spread over meat.
  • 2. Seal securely in aluminum foil. Place in shallow pan and bake for 1 1/4 hours at 325 degrees F.
  • 3. Cut meat into 1-inch slices. Pour soup-gravy over slices of meat.

1 pork crown roast, about 16 to 18 ribs (8 to 10 lb)*
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 lb bulk pork sausage
1/4 cup butter
4 medium stalks celery, chopped (2 cups)
3/4 cup chopped onion (about 1 large)
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon dried sage leaves, crumbled
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
6 1/2 cups unseasoned stuffing cubes (16 oz)
1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
1 cup applesauce
1 cup orange marmalade

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 325°F. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. On rack in shallow roasting pan, place pork with bone ends up. Wrap bone ends in foil to prevent excessive browning. Insert ovenproof meat thermometer so tip is in thickest part of pork and does not touch bone or rest in fat. Place small heatproof bowl or crumpled foil in crown to hold shape of roast evenly. Do not add water.
  • Heat oven to 325°F. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. On rack in shallow roasting pan, place pork with bone ends up. Wrap bone ends in foil to prevent excessive browning. Insert ovenproof meat thermometer so tip is in thickest part of pork and does not touch bone or rest in fat. Place small heatproof bowl or crumpled foil in crown to hold shape of roast evenly. Do not add water.
  • About 1 hour before pork is done, remove bowl and fill center of crown with stuffing. (Remaining stuffing can be baked in 1 1/2-­quart covered casserole.) Cover stuffing with foil only for first 30 minutes. Remove foil and finish roasting.
  • Remove pork from oven when thermometer reads 145°F. Cover loosely with foil; let stand at least 3 minutes.
  • Remove foil wrapping; place paper frills on bone ends if desired. To serve, spoon stuffing into bowl and cut ork between ribs.

  • Lightly spray slow cooker with butter or garlic flavored nonstick cooking spray.
  • Put onions and potatoes in bottom of slow cooker. Top with pork chops, salt and pepper, pour soup over chops.

1 lb pork sirloin tip roast, cut into 1 inch cubes (i use the ones from costco)
1 box white mushrooms, quartered
1 tsp salt and pepper
1 small onion
1 c sour cream
1 pinch garlic powder
2 c rice, cooked and hot

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oil in electric skillet. Add the pork, mushrooms and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until pork no longer pink.
  • 2. Turn down skillet to low (not boiling) and slowly add the room temperature sour cream. Stir to mix and add the garlic pepper Continue to simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour. May add something to thicken it more if desired (sometimes I add Wonder Flour).
  • 3. Serve over hot rice and enjoy!

Wanted to change up the traditional pork chops recipes , so I came up with this easy and delicious option. I served this with a side of sweet potatoes.

12 ounces barbecue sauce
3 large carrots
4 pork loin chops with bone
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 (120 g) box Stove Top stuffing mix

Steps:

  • coat a 6 quart crockpot with cooking oil spray for easy cleanup.
  • pour 1/2 the barbecue sauce into crockpot.
  • peel and chunk carrots and put them in the pot.
  • sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of chops and brown them in a large frying pan for 3 minutes on each side.
  • spread the rest of the barbecue sauce on each side of the chops and place them on top of the carrots.
  • prepare the stove top stuffing and after dividing it into 4 servings place one serving on each chop.
  • cook on high for 21/2 hours.

1/4 cup peanut oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
12 snow peas, strings removed
1/4 cup bean sprouts
3/4 cup celery cabbage, shredded
3 water chestnuts, sliced
1 rib celery, sliced diagonally
1/8 cup mushrooms, thinly sliced
1/4 cup bamboo shoots, sliced
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 cup dry-fried noodles

1/2 cup chicken broth

  • Heat wok over high heat for 40 seconds; add peanut oil. When wisp of white smoke appears, add sliced pork and stir until meat lightens in color.
  • Add all vegetables and stir until coated, about 1 to 2 minutes. Add sauce and continue stirring until sauce thickens. Sprinkle sesame oil onto vegetables and mix.

Marinade
1/2 cup lite Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Olive Oil (extra Virgin)
1/4 cup Red Wine Vinegar
1 tsp Oregano (dry)
1/2 tsp Basil (dry)
1/2 tsp Garlic Minced
1/4 tsp Pepper, fresh ground
1 Tbsp Parsley (fresh)

Steps:

  • Mix marinade directly in a plastic sealable bag large enough to hole both tenderloins. Remove any silver shin from tendeloins and then stab each tendeloin several time with a serving fork. Marinade pork overnight in refrigerate, turning occasionally. Remove Port Tenderloins from marinade, pour marinade into a bowl. Cook on covered grill, over drip pan, basting frequently with marinade. Grill 1 to 1 1/2 hours until done. Meat thermometer 170 degrees.

4 1/2 lb pork tenderloin
1/3 c soy sauce
1/2 c rye whisky or burbon
4 Tbsp brown sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Trim and clean tenderloin. Rub generously with Dijon mustard. Combine soy sauce, whiskey and brown sugar to make marinade. Marinate pork in marinade for 2 to 3 hours. Drain, reserving marinade. Rub pork with Dijon mustard (again) and roll in sesame seeds to coat. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 25 to 30 minutes or until tender. Baste while baking. Slice on the diagonal. Serve with sauce. Sauce Combine: 1 cup sour cream 1 cup mayo 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard 4 tbsp. chopped green onion juice of one lemon pepper to taste
  • 2. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 25 to 30 minutes or until tender. Baste while baking.

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 pound pork loin, cut into 1 inch cubes
3 onions, sliced
1 (8 ounce) package fresh mushrooms, sliced
4 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups milk
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add pork and onions; cook until evenly browned. Add mushrooms and saute for 5 minutes. Remove pork and vegetables and place on a side dish.
  • Return pan to heat, add butter and stir until melted. Add flour; stir constantly until a paste forms. Slowly add milk and stir until gravy thickens. Stir in tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and salt. Return pork mixture to pan, stir and simmer until meat is tender. Serve over noodles or rice.
