APPLE PORK CHOP CASSEROLE
I've loved this recipe since the first time I tried it. The apples and raisins give a nice homey flavor to the stuffing.

- In a large skillet, brown meat in oil for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 145°. Remove from the heat and keep warm. (Let meat stand for 5 minutes before adding to baking dish. , Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, combine the water, butter, apple and raisins; bring to a boil. Stir in stuffing mix. Remove from the heat; cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork., Transfer to a greased shallow 1-qt. baking dish. Top with meat. Spoon soup over meat and stuffing. , Cover and bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.

- Place flour in a shallow dish, sprinkle with onion powder, garlic powder and paprika. Stir in the seasonings with a fork until well mixed.
- Season pork chops liberally with salt and pepper. Dredge in the flour until well coated.
- In a skillet, brown the pork chops on both sides in olive oil and butter. Add onions, apples, and Kraft's Honey Barbecue Sauce and minced garlic.
- Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until chops are tender.

- 1. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook pork chops in oil until both sides are browned.
- 2. Prepare stuffing mix per package directions. Pour pie filling into a lightly greased 13x9 baking pan; lay chops on top. Cover with stuffing.
- 3. Bake, uncovered, at 325 for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until chops are cooked through.

- 1. coat chops with flour and brown in med pan on both sides.
- 2. add corn starch, and apple cider, sugar and vinegar in small bowl. Mix well.
- 3. Butter a large casserole. Pour in apple cider mixture.
- 4. Cut apples in thick wedges (peeled or not) and cut in half to make large chunks.
- 5. Spread in 1 layer in casserole. Add raisins evenly. Sprinkle with cinnamon and grate nutmeg over top.
- 6. Layer chops on top of apples. Dot with remainder of butter. Cover with foil. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 mins. Uncover and bake another 10 to 15 mins.
- 7. Remove from oven and let sit 10 to 15 mins. Serve.
