Be sure to buy the pop-corn when you purchase your turkey!

Number Of Ingredients 7

15-18 lb turkey
2-1/2 c butter
2 c un -popped pop-corn
8 c homemade stuffing
1/2 cut up onion
3 stalks celery chopped into bits
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Pre-heat oven to 350F. Brush turkey well with melted butter.Sprinkle on salt and pepper to taste. Fill cavity with dressing and pop-corn. Place turkey in baking pan, with the neck end towards the back of oven. Very Important !! Baking will take about 4 hours. Listen for popping sound. When the turkey butt blows the oven door open, and the bird flies across the room. IT'S DONE !

Number Of Ingredients 7

6 cups crumbled cornbread or corn muffins (see Notes)
3 cups popped popcorn (see Notes)
1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
1 3/4 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons dried rubbed sage

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Spoon into prepared baking dish. Bake 40 to 45 minutes, or until center is set.

3 c corn bread dressing
2 tsp salt
1 c chopped oniond
1 c unpopped popcorn

Steps:

  • 1. Mix ingredients all together and stuff turkey.
  • 2. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 hours or till the rear-end blows off the turkey! Enjoy!!!
