2 cups crushed pretzels
1 cup butter, melted
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 cup white sugar
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 (20 ounce) cans crushed pineapple
½ (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place crushed pretzels in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour melted butter carefully over top. Bake in preheated oven 10 minutes.
  • Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust. Combine pineapple and pudding mix. Spread over whipped topping layer. Chill until serving.

Can be used for a party dip for pretzels or a side salad depending on your choice. I usually double this recipe for parties. If you want to use for a dip for pretzels, one batch should be enough. I recommend crushing the pretzels using a rolling pin. I recommend not to add pretzel mixture to pineapple mixture until ready to serve.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
½ cup white sugar
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed
1 cup crushed pretzels
½ cup butter, melted
⅓ cup white sugar

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar together in a bowl; add pineapple and mix well. Fold whipped topping into pineapple mixture; refrigerate until chilled, about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
  • Combine pretzels, butter, and 1/3 cup sugar in a bowl until evenly coated; spread onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until pretzel mixture holds together like toffee, 6 to 8 minutes. Remove pan from oven and cool. Break pretzel mixture into pieces and mix into pineapple mixture.

2 cups crushed pretzels
3/4 cup melted butter
3 tablespoons sugar, plus
3/4 cup sugar
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) container whipped topping
2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen strawberries
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
whipped topping or whipped cream, to garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • For the crust, mix the pretzels, butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar.
  • Press this mixture into a 9 by 13-inch pan and bake for 7 minutes.
  • Set aside and allow to cool.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and 3/4 cup of sugar.
  • Fold in the whipped topping, and spread over the cooled crust.
  • Refrigerate until well chilled.
  • In a small bowl, dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water, and allow to cool slightly.

2 (3 oz.) pkgs. orange jello
2 cups boiling water
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups whipped topping

Steps:

  • 1. Combine crushed pretzels and 3 tsp. sugar in a bowl; stir in melted butter. Press into a 13 x 9 baking dish and bake at 350 for 10 minutes. 2. While the pretzel layer is cooling, mix the jello with boiling water and stir until jello is dissolved. Add mandarin oranges and pineapple and set aside to cool. 3. Mix together cream cheese and 3/4 cup sugar. 1 1/2 c crushed pretzels
3/4 c melted margarine or butter
41/2 Tbsp granulated sugar
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz cool whip
1 c granulated sugar
6 oz orange jello
2 c boiling water
20oz can(s) crushed pineapple in own juice

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray 13x9 glass baking dish. Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 4Tbs. Sugar. Press evenly into bottom of prepared pan. Bake for10 minutes. Remove to cool completely.
  • 2. Combine softened cream cheese and remaining sugar, mix with hand mixer until smooth. Add Cool whip and mix til blended. Spread mixture over cooled pretzel crust. Refrigerate.
  • 3. Mix boiling water and Jello in separate bowl til dissolved and stir in pineapple. Refrigerate until slightly thickened. Spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until set.
  • 4. May use other combinations of fruit and jello. May use artificial, granulated sweetener to replace sugar.

1/2 c sugar
1 - 20 oz crushed pineapple, drained
8 oz whipped topping, thawed
2 c crushed pretzels
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 c sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Stir together until thoroughly mixed.. Spread the pretzel mixture out on a small cookie sheet that has sides. Place in an oven preheated to 425 degree F and bake for 5 - 6 minutes. Remove and allow pretzels to cool.
  • 2. Combine the cream cheese and sugar together in a mixing bowl and beat until the sugar is well mixed into the cream cheese. Add the whipped topping and pineapple. Beat just until they are mixed in evenly. Store in the refrigerator.
  • 3. Add the crushed pretzel mixture to the cream cheese mixture just before serving.
  • 4. I sprinkle a few pretzels on top right before serving...yum!

2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup pretzel stick
1 whipped dessert topping mix
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, heat cornstarch and pineapple (with its own juice) until thickened. Let cool.
  • Mix ½ cup sugar, melted butter, and crushed pretzel sticks together and put in bottom of 8 x 8 inch pan.
  • Mix 1 package of DreamWhip, with milk and vanilla, according to its own instructions.

2 cups crushed pretzels
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained
12 ounces Cool Whip
8 ounces cream cheese, softened

Steps:

  • Mix the crushed pretzels, butter and sugar together.
  • Grease 9x13 pan.
  • Place pretzel mixture in greased pan and bake for 10 minutes at 350°F.
  • Cool slightly and break pieces into chunks.
  • Beat cream cheese until well whipped and fluffy.
  • Add the Cool Whip; blend well.
  • Fold in the pineapple tidbits.
  • Chill- for about 1 hour.
  • About 1/2 hour before serving-- add pretzel pieces.

8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 c confectioners' sugar
8 oz whipped topping, thawed
1 can(s) crushed pineapple (20 oz) drained
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (i used clear vanilla)
2 c crushed or broken pretzel sticks
1/2 c butter or margarine, melted
1/2 c granulated sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Combine the cream cheese and confectioner's sugar, almond extract and vanilla in a mixing bowl and blend well. Fold in the whipped topping and drained pineaple until evenly mixed. Refrigerate.
  • 2. Combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until evenly coated. Place in oven that has been preheated to 425 degrees and bake for 5 minutes. Remove and allow mixture to cool.
  • 3. Add the pretzels to the cream cheese mixture just prior to serving. The pretzels will get soggy if they are mixed in the salad for a long time. Still tastes yummy, just not crunchy.
