SOUTHERN PEA SALAD
Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except peas. Mix well.
- Stir in peas until completely coated with dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate salad for at least 3-4 hours. Serve at room temperature.

- Place frozen peas in a colander; rinse under cold water until thawed. Drain and transfer to a large bowl. Add almonds and onions; mix well. Fold mayonnaise and black pepper into pea mixture until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate until serving.

- Make dressing in a small bowl by combining mayonnaise, sourcream, lemon juice, sugar, and dillweed.
- Pour dressing over salad mixture. Gently stir to combine.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
