As much as we like lasagna, it can be a time-consuming dish. So we came up with this Parmesan-Rotini Skillet. All of the flavor-none of the fuss.

Steps:
- Crumble sausage into Dutch oven or large deep skillet; cook 8 to 10 min. or until evenly browned, stirring frequently. Drain sausage; return to pan.
- Stir in pasta sauce, tomatoes, water and herbs. Bring to boil. Add pasta; stir. Cover; simmer on medium-low heat 20 min. or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Mix ricotta, 1/4 cup Parmesan and parsley until blended; spoon over pasta mixture, then swirl gently with spoon. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan.

- 1. Brown ground beef in 12-inch skillet; drain.
- 2. Stir in Pasta Sauce and water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Stir in uncooked rotini and return to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook covered, stirring occasionally, 14 minutes or until rotini is tender. Remove from heat, then sprinkle with cheese. Cover and let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

- Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Stir in the broccoli, and cook, uncovered, for 3 minutes. Remove the broccoli with a slotted spoon; set aside. Stir the rotini into the same pot, and return to a boil. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked through, but still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir the garlic and crushed red pepper for 1 minute. Stir in the broccoli, chicken broth, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until the broccoli is tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in the drained pasta; cook over low heat for 1 minute. Stir in the Parmesan cheese.
