OLD BAY® TILAPIA WITH BROCCOLI



Old Bay® Tilapia with Broccoli image

This is an easy and delicious tilapia recipe with Old Bay® that only takes about 20 to 25 minutes!

1 tablespoon salted butter
6 frozen tilapia fillets, thawed
1 tablespoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
½ tablespoon garlic salt, or more to taste
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 (10 ounce) package frozen broccoli

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a shallow baking dish.
  • Place tilapia fillets in the prepared baking dish. Cut butter into 6 pieces and place 1 on top of each fillet. Season fillets with seafood seasoning and garlic salt and squirt a little lemon juice over each one. Arrange broccoli around the fillets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until fish is flaky and white all the way through and broccoli is blanched but still a little crunchy, about 20 minutes.

Great recipe loaded with flavour. I made this on my Griddler and it turned out amazing! This recipe works for cod, monkfish. scallops,etc.your choice.Also perfect for sole.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 lbs tilapia fillets
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon tsps cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon tsps Old Bay Seasoning
1 cup mayonnaise
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3/4 teaspoon dried tarragon

Steps:

  • Preheat grill.
  • Spread oil on both sides of filets.
  • Sprinkle with seasoning.
  • Place on hot grill and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes over a medium high heat. Turn once during grilling.
  • Serve with Aioli.
  • Prepare aioli by combining all ingredients in a bowl, mixing and then refrigerate until you are ready for use.
  • I served it with boiled new potatoes and green beans to dip in the Aioli.
  • I use Low fat mayonnaise.
  • Use seasoning of your choice.

1 tablespoon butter

Steps:

  • Place each thawed tilapia fillet into a foil pouch.
  • Add a teaspoon of butter to each filler and divide the old bay between fillets.
  • Seal the foil pouch and place on grill.
  • Grill for 7-10 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
