4 hard-boiled egg yolks
2 tablespoons rose water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup sweet butter, softened
1 lb noodles, cooked (any kind)
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried sweet basil leaves
1 orange, sliced as garnish

Steps:

  • Beat the egg yolks, sugar, butter, thyme, basil, and rose water in a small bowl until smooth.
  • Mix enough of the butter with the hot noodles to coat the noodles with color.
  • Toss coated noodles with the yolk and spice mixture and serve.

½ cup butter
5 ounces thin egg noodles
2 cups uncooked instant rice
2 (1 ounce) packages dry onion soup mix
4 cups vegetable broth
1 (5 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
soy sauce to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 2 quart casserole dish.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown noodles in the butter.
  • In a large bowl combine browned noodles, rice, soup mix, broth, water chestnuts and soy sauce. Mix well and transfer to prepared casserole dish.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until liquid has been absorbed and casserole is browned and crispy on top.

⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Stir in fettuccine, bring back to a boil, and cook pasta over medium heat until tender yet firm to the bite, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and return pasta to pot.

2 Wyler's chicken bouillon cubes
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup real butter
8 ounces egg noodles

Steps:

  • Bring water, 2 boullion cubes and 1/2 stick of butter to boil using med to high heat.
  • Add egg noodles.
  • Cook until noodles are desired texture.
  • (About 6-8 minutes) During last minute of cooking add remaining 1/2 stick of butter.
  • (You may add additional butter if desired. Also you may use 1 can of chicken broth instead of bullion. I suggest using bullion).
