This Retro Shrimp Dip is always a hit at parties. Canned shrimp, cream cheese, chili sauce, mayo, seasoning and green onions. Delicious!

Number Of Ingredients 8

8 ounce block cream cheese, (softened to room temp.)
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
3 Tablespoons chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon dried minced onion
4 ounce can tiny shrimp
sliced green onions, (for topping (optional))

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl beat together the cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
  • Add the lemon juice, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce and dried onion. Beat until smooth.
  • Chop up the shrimp into smaller chunks. Stir chopped shrimp into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions.
  • Keep chilled. Serve with Ruffles potato chips (or your favorite cracker).

1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon salt

1 can (6 ounces) small shrimp, rinsed and drained
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
Assorted crackers

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper until smooth. Fold in shrimp and onion. Refrigerate until serving. Serve with crackers.

This recipe came into our family through my brother's past girlfriend, Nancy. Where ever you are, Thanks Nancy!!! The best shrimp dip I have ever eaten! The only recipe you will ever want to make for all events!

1/2 lb salad shrimp
8 oz cream cheese
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 bunch scallions or green onions
2 stick celery

Steps:

  • 1. Microwave or cook cream cheese and cream of mushroom soup, stirring until melted together. Set aside to cool.
  • 2. Finely chop scallions (green onions) and celery.
  • 3. Rinse salad shrimp under cold water to clean.
  • 4. Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate. Serve with veggies, crackers, of pita chips...YUMMY!!!
