NACHOS AGRIOS (SOUR CREAM NACHOS)

Nachos Agrios (Sour Cream Nachos) image

Posted for Zaar World Tour 2005. I thought I'd never post a recipe I'd never make, but I think this is it. I DO only post recipes that sound very yummy, like this one. It's high in fat, so it's for those of you who think you can handle it. It sounds unbelievably good. I love nachos, who doesn't? From a special edition of Saveur, The Best of Tex-Mex Cooking. From San Antonio's Los Barrios restaurant, it's presumably "the most outstanding appetizer there is." Adding the water comment is my own addition.

1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon pimiento, drained and chopped (jarred)

OVER THE TOP NACHOS

Over the Top Nachos image

These nachos can be served as a meal, but all the good stuff makes for a great appetizer or snack while watching a game or a quick lunch for your family and friends. Better plan on making two plates of these, they're really good! Serve with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole.

CLASSIC PUB STYLE NACHOS

Classic Pub Style Nachos image

I got this recipe from summer camp, and when I made them at home, my whole family was impressed. Layers of tortilla chips and salsa with the works on the side - tastes just like the nachos they serve at restaurants. Perfect for a party!
