MOUNTAIN DEW APPLE DUMPLINGS
My preference: I usually cut the apples and roll each apple slice in the crescent and place in the pan. Melt the butter, sugar and vanilla, pour over top. Cover with foil and put in the refrigerator over night. The next morning I pour the mountain dew over top and bake. Most everything tastes better when it sets over night,...

MOUNTAIN DEW APPLE DUMPLINGS
Several year ago I worked second shift nursing. My supervisor loved for me to cook and bring food. He loved for me to share recipes with him. The hospital food wasn't that great so he and I would have a little private picnic. This is a recipe I gave him and he really enjoyed preparing it. I hope you do also.

- 2. Melt the butter then add sugar, barely stir and gently pour over apple dumplings. Then, slowly pour the can of Mt Due around the edge of pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake in pre heated oven at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes. The Mt. Due will evaporate and the dumplings will turn a golden brown.
