1 (4 ounce) can ripe olives, chopped
1 1/4 lbs lean ground beef
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
3 tablespoons seasoned dry bread crumbs
3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
1/4 cup diced tomato
4 hamburger buns, toasted

Steps:

  • Set aside 2 tablespoons of the chopped olives. Combine remaining olives, meat, onion, breadcrumbs and garlic salt. Mix well;.
  • shape to form four one inch thick patties.
  • Grill or pan grill over medium heat 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink in center.
  • Combine remaining olives, mayonnaise and tomato; spread over burgers.
  • Serve in buns.

1 cup sliced green olives
3 ounces olive juice, from jar

  • Place the burger on the bun and top with olive topping.
  • Mix the cream cheese with the olives and olive juice.

1 pound ground beef
2 teaspoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup sliced green olives with pimientos, drained
1/4 cup Miracle Whip
1 tablespoon stone-ground mustard
4 hamburger buns, toasted
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese, optional
Bibb lettuce leaves, optional

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine beef, soy sauce, Worcestershire, garlic powder and onion powder, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape into four 1/2-in.-thick patties, indenting the center slightly., Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet; cook burgers over medium heat until a thermometer reads 160°, 4-6 minutes on each side., Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine olives, Miracle Whip and mustard.
