MINI HAM AND CHEESE ROLLS
These are fantastic for both a super bowl party or a luncheon tea. They are addictive, so be sure to make an extra batch.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- In a small mixing bowl, combine onion flakes, mustard, poppy seeds and margarine.
- Split each dinner roll. Make a sandwich of the ham and cheese and the dinner rolls. Arrange the sandwiches on a baking sheet. Drizzle the poppy seed mixture over the sandwiches.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Serve these sandwiches warm.

Steps:
- Make sandwiches (adding ham and cheese to each split roll). Keep rolls on an aluminum baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix onion flakes, mustard, poppy seeds, and margarine together. Drizzle mixture over sandwiches.
- Cover trays with tin foil. Bake at 325°F for 20 minutes. When cheese has melted remove rolls from tray and serve warm.
JEN'S MINI HAM AND CHEESE ROLLS
This is my friend Jennifer's recipe that she uses a lot for any function that requires food. Everyone loves these so much that I asked for the recipe. The key to making these taste so good is to cook them so the cheese melts but the rolls do not get toasted. These are also good using roast beef and Havarti cheese.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Slice each roll almost all the way through, but keeping the top attached. Arrange rolls on prepared baking sheet.
- Stir honey mustard dressing into melted butter until well blended.
- Brush butter mixture inside each roll using a pastry brush, making sure to get the top and bottom.
- Place a layer of Swiss cheese and ham into each roll.
- Close each roll and brush the top with butter mixture. Sprinkle the top of each roll with sesame seeds.
- Bake rolls in the preheated oven until cheese has melted, 5 to 6 minutes.

When I was in the pageants, there were parties for everything. My Director lives in a multi million dollar estate but down to earth. She and my Assistant Director made (with some outside help) a zillion appetizers. One was this Mini Ham and Cheese rolls. They were yummy. Wrap in foil and re warm in oven on a very low temperature....

- 1. Pre heat oven to 325 degrees F
- 2. In a small mixing bowl, combine onion flakes,mustard, poppy seed, parsley and dill with melted butter.
- 3. Split each dinner roll. brush one side with the butter mixture and place a piece of ham and swiss cheese, replace top like a sandwich. Do all 24 and place them on a cookie sheet. Drizzle rest of butter mixture across top of rolls.
- 4. Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Serve warm.
