1 1/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 tablespoons boiling water
1/3 cup canned crabmeat, finely chopped cooked crabmeat or finely chopped imitation crabmeat
1/2 cup half-and-half
1 egg
2 medium green onions, thinly sliced (2 tablespoons)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (2 oz)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 24 mini muffin cups with cooking spray. In small bowl, stir Bisquick mix and butter until blended. Add boiling water; stir vigorously until soft dough forms. Press rounded teaspoonful of dough in bottom and up side of each muffin cup. Divide crabmeat evenly among muffin cups.
  • In another small bowl, beat half-and-half and egg with spoon until blended. Stir in onions, salt and red pepper. Spoon 1 1/2 teaspoons egg mixture into each muffin cup. Sprinkle cheese over tops.
  • Bake about 20 minutes or until edges are golden brown and centers are set.

2 packages (1.9 ounces each) frozen miniature phyllo tart shells
1 large egg
1/4 cup 2% milk
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 can (6 ounces) lump crabmeat, drained
2 tablespoons shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 tablespoon chopped green onion
Thinly sliced green onions, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Place tart shells in an ungreased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. In a small bowl, whisk egg, milk, mayonnaise, flour and salt until smooth. Stir in crab, cheese and chopped onion. Spoon into tart shells., Bake 9-11 minutes or until set. Garnish with sliced onions if desired. Serve warm.

1 sheet refrigerated pie crust
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese, divided
1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 tablespoon butter
3 large eggs
1-1/2 cups half-and-half cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3/4 cup flaked imitation crabmeat, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450°. Unroll crust into a 9-in. pie plate; flute edge.Line unpricked pastry shell with a double thickness of heavy-duty foil. Bake for 5 minutes; remove foil. Bake 5 minutes longer. Immediately sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese over crust., Reduce heat to 375°. In a skillet, saute red pepper and onions in butter until tender. , In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, cream, salt and pepper. Stir in the crab, red pepper mixture and remaining cheese. Pour into crust., Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand for 15 minutes before cutting.

1 (10 1/4 ounce) package large refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Separate each biscuit into 5 equal pieces. Press into bottom and up sides of of 24 greased minature muffin cups (discard remaining pieces of dough).
  • Mix crab and 1 teaspoon Swiss cheese, milk, dill and salt; spoon about 1-1/2 teaspoon into each cup.
  • Bake at 375* for 15-20 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before removing from pans. Serve warm, if possible.
