Milky way candy bars are one of my favorite candy bars, when I came across the recipe ,I thought this is great, and I'm thinking it should work for Snickers too. the recipe calls for the little mini bars, good way to finish up any Halloween candy you might have left. The recipe is from ALL YOU MAGAZINE.

1/3 c sugar
3 Tbsp corn starch
1 Tbsp unsweetened coco powder ( such as hersheys )
1/8 tsp salt
2 c whole milk ( if you don't use whole milk you can sub 1 can of evaporated milk and 1 can of water, should give you 2 cups )
3 large egg yolks
2 Tbsp unsalted butter ( cut into small pieces )
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 c milky way midnight bars ( chopped into little cubes ) about 10 oz.

Steps:

  • 1. In a sauce pan, combine Sugar, Cornstarch,Cocoa powder and salt, stirring this to mix well - Then SLOWLY mix in the milk, Place Pan over Medium High Heat and Bring to a boil, whisking all the time, Boil for 1 Minute Take Off Heat and Set Aside - In A Bowl Whisk the Egg Yolks to Combine, and then While Whisking Constantly - pour 1/2 of the hot milk mixture into the Eggs ( be careful or you will have scrambled eggs ) SLOWLY , - Then take the Egg Yolk Mixture ( Whisking Vigorously ) and pour into the hot milk mixture in the pan, - Bring back to a boil over Medium High Heat , Whisking Constantly, untill thickened ( should be about a Minute ) Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla, Then Stir in 1 1/2 cups of milky way - ( You'll have 1/2 cup left to scatter on top of pudding before serving ) You can pour into 6 custard cups or a serving bowl, - Cover the top with plastic wrap, Pressing directly on the surfaceof the pudding, Put in Frig. and Chill till Set at least 2 hours or overnight - Just before serving Sprinkle the remaing 1/2 cup candy on top - This would also be good with a dollop of whipped cream . Eat and Enjoy !!!

2 (2 1/4 ounce) Milky Way bars, sliced
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling mix
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

Steps:

  • Stir Milky Way Bars, 1/4 cup milk and cocoa in medium saucepan.
  • over low heat until smooth.
  • Place mixture in medium bowl and chill 10 minutes or until cold.
  • Stir in remaining milk and pudding mix.
  • Blend with a wire wisk or rotary beater until smooth and slightly thickened.
  • Blend in sour cream.
  • Chill at least 30 minutes.

5 (2 1/16 ounce) Milky Way bars
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups whole milk
3 egg yolks
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
2 teaspoons vanilla

Steps:

  • Cut the Milky Way bars into small pieces and set aside.
  • Combine the sugar, cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan. Slowly whisk in the milk until smooth. Stir over medium-high heat until the mixture comes to a boil.
  • Whisk the yolks quickly to blend in a large, heatproof bowl. Slowly stir in half of the hot mixture into the yolks. Stir well and pour the yolk mixture back into the saucepan. Bring back to the boil and stir for 1 minute or until thickened and smooth. Remove from the heat and stir in the butter and vanilla. Reserve ½ cup of the chopped Milky Ways for garnish. Stir the rest into the pudding. Pour into four six-ounce ramekins or custard cups.
  • Cover and chill until set, at least 2 hours or overnight. Sprinkle over the reserved chopped Milky Ways just before serving.
