If you're busy, but would still like to make something special for the holidays, try this fudge. It uses candy bars and is cooked in the microwave. It takes just minutes to make and is foolproof.-Arla Docherty, East Moline, Illinois

Yield about 1-1/2 pounds.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 teaspoon butter
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
3 Milky Way candy bars (2.05 ounces each), chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Line a 9-in. square pan with foil and grease the foil with butter; set aside. , In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk, chocolate chips and candy bars. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Spread into prepared pan. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm., Using foil, lift fudge out of pan; cut fudge into 1-in. squares. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

I found thie recipe in a cookbook that I got for the Cook Book Swap 09. I have never made this but it just sounded good!! Can also be made with Snickers candy bars too!!

3 regular-size Milky Way bars
1 (12 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
12 ounces milk chocolate chips
nuts (optional)

Steps:

  • Melt candy bars and milk in microwave for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes.
  • Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Pour into buttered 8-inch square pan.
  • Cools quickly.

1 tsp salted butter
1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
6.15 oz milky way candy bars chopped
1 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • 1. Line a 8 or 9 inch square pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. In a large microwave bowl combine milk, choc. chips, and candy bars microwave for 1 min. then stir, microwave for additional bursts of 20 sec. stirring after each burst, until mixture is smooth. Stir in vanilla. Spread the fudge into prepared pan. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Take fudge out of pan by lifting up the foil and transferring it to a cutting board. Cut into small pieces. Keep in covered container.
