3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) chicken broth
6 pork rib or loin chops (3/4 inch thick)
2 tablespoons canola oil
Additional salt and pepper, optional
6 cups thinly sliced peeled potatoes
1 medium onion, sliced
Paprika and minced fresh parsley, optional

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, melt butter; stir in the flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Add broth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Remove from the heat and set aside. , In a large skillet, brown the pork chops on both sides in oil; sprinkle with additional salt and pepper if desired., In a greased 13x9-in. baking dish, layer potatoes and onion. Pour broth mixture over layers. Place pork chops on top. , Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour; uncover and bake 30 minutes longer or until meat and potatoes are tender. If desired, sprinkle with paprika and parsley.

vegetable oil
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
1 medium onion, chopped
seasoning salt
black pepper
1 (24 ounce) package o'brien frozen potatoes, thawed
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Brown chops in greased skillet.
  • Sprinkle with seasoned salt and set aside.
  • Combine soup, milk, sour cream, pepper and seasoned salt.
  • Stir in potatoes, 1/2 C cheese and 1/2 of the onion.
  • Spoon mixture in a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • Arrange pork chops over potatoes.
  • Bake, covered at 350 for 40 minutes.

1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup, undiluted
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (26 ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 (3 7/8 ounce) can French-fried onions, divided

Steps:

  • Sprinkle pork chops with seasoned salt.
  • In a skillet, brown chops on both sides in oil.
  • In a large bowl, combine the soup, milk, sour cream, salt and pepper; stir in hash browns, 2/4 cup cheese and half of the onions.

6 pork loin chops
6 medium potatoes, sliced
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 1/2 cups milk (heated until hot)
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • Mix salt, pepper and flour together in a bowl; set aside.
  • Brown the pork chops in oil until just brown on both sides (do not cook through) and place them in the bottom of 9x13 inch casserole dish.
  • Place a layer of raw sliced potatoes on top of chops.

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
6 boneless pork chops
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
4 potatoes, thinly sliced
½ cup chopped onion
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high-heat. Place the pork chops in the oil, and sear.

10 1/2 ounces cream of celery soup
1/2 cup milk

24 ounces hash browns, shredded and thawed
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 -1 1/2 tablespoon hot sauce
3 ounces durkees French-fried onions

Steps:

  • Brown pork chops in skillet lightly greased with vegetable oil.

1/2 can(s) water

Steps:

  • 1. Peel potatoes.
  • 2. Cut into round slices.
  • 3. Layer bottom of a large casserole dish with potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • 4. Coat pork chops with flour.
  • 5. Heat oil in large skillet and brown pork chops on each side.
  • 6. Arrange pork chops on top of potatoes.
  • 7. Heat soup with water.
  • 8. Pour over pork chops and potatoes.
