1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
1 pastry for a 9-inch double-crust pie
10 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored, and cut into 1/2-inch wedges
½ lemon, juiced
¼ cup butter
½ cup maple syrup
⅓ cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

Steps:

1 tablespoon maple syrup
2/3 cup Crisco shortening
7 cups apples, peeled and sliced
3/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 cup pecans, Chopped
2 cups unbleached flour
1 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • 7 to 8 T cold water Preheat oven to 375 degrees. For crust, combine flour, baking powder and salt in large mixing bowl. Cut in Crisco shortening with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture is uniform. Sprinkle water in, 1 tbsp. at a time, until dough forms a ball. Divide dough into 2 equal parts.
  • On lightly floured surface, roll bottom crust into circle 1/8" thick and 1/2" larger than and inverted 9" pie plate. Gently, ease crust into greased plate, being careful not to stretch dough. Trim edge even with plate.

1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup shortening or 2/3 cup lard
6 -7 tablespoons ice water
1/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 cups apples, sliced and peeled (6 medium)
1/2 cup maple syrup or 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
milk
sugar or maple syrup

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, stir together 2 cups all-purpose flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  • Using a pastry blender, cut in 2/3 cup shortening until pieces are peasize.
  • Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of cold water over part of the mixture; gently toss with a fork.
  • Push moistened dough to the side of the bowl.
  • Repeat moistening dough, using 1 tablespoon cold water at a time, until all the dough is moistened.
  • Divide dough in half. Form each half into a ball. On a lightly floured surface, use your hands to slightly flatten 1 dough ball.
  • Roll dough from center to edge into a circle about 12 inches in diameter.
  • Unroll into a 9-inch pie plate being careful not to stretch pastry.
  • In a large bowl, stir together the 1/3 cup sugar, the cornstarch, and the salt.

2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into wedges
2 Red Delicious apples, peeled, cored and cut into wedges
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 shots (3 ounces) bourbon
1 shot (1.5 ounces) maple syrup
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon maple syrup

Steps:

  • For the crust: Pulse the flour, granulated sugar and salt together in a food processor to combine. Add the 5 ounces Cheddar and pulse, then add the butter and pulse until it creates a coarse meal with some larger butter lumps. Add water a tablespoon at a time (no more than 1/2 cup) while processing just until the dough comes together. Turn out onto a piece of plastic wrap and form into a disc.   • For the filling: Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

MAPLE SYRUP DRIZZLE
1/2 c maple syrup
MAPLE WHIPPED CREAM
1/2 c whipping cream
2 Tbsp maple syrup

Steps:

  • 1. For the crust: Dice butter and return it to the refrigerator while you prepare flour mixture.
  • 2. Place flour, salt, and sugar in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade and pulse a few times to mix. Add the butter and shortening. Pulse 8-12 times until the butter is the size of peas.
  • 3. With the machine running, pour the ice water in through the processor feed and pulse the machine until the dough begins to form a ball.
  • 4. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate 30 minutes.
  • 5. Roll the dough on a well-floured board into a circle, rolling from center to edge, turning and flouring the dough to make sure it doesn't stick to the board.
  • 6. Then, fold dough in half, place in the pie pan, and unfold to fit the pan.
  • 7. Filling: Preheat oven to 375° Fahrenheit.
  • 8. Peel, core, and slice apples very thin.
  • 9. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, vanilla bean, salt, and cinnamon.
  • 10. Place one layer of apples in the pie crust and sprinkle with 2 tsp of the sugar mixture. Repeat the process until all the sugar has been added.
  • 11. Crumb Topping: Mix together all crumb topping ingredients with a fork until crumbly.
  • 12. Cover filling with crumb topping.
  • 13. Bake in the preheated oven at 375° for 30 minutes.
  • 14. Turn pie in oven and cover edges with aluminum foil and continue to bake an additional 30 minutes.
  • 15. Bring 1/2 cup pure NH Maple syrup to a boil; continue to cook until a candy thermometer inserted into it indicates "soft ball" temperature, about 235°-240°F.
  • 16. Drizzle maple over pie.
  • 17. Whipped topping: In a mixing bowl, beat whipping cream and 2 tbsp maple syrup until firm peaks form.
  • 18. Cool pie. Decorate inside edge of pie and peak of pie with maple whipped cream and additional pecan halves.

2 pounds apples, peeled, thinly sliced
4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 ½ cups water
½ cup maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
¾ cup white sugar
⅔ cup cornstarch
1 dash salt
3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 dash ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Toss apple slices with lemon juice and set aside. Combine water, maple syrup, vanilla, sugar, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large saucepan, stirring until well mixed.
  • Bring maple syrup mixture to a simmer over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves, and the mixture thickens and turns clear. Fold in apple slices and return to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to stand for 15 minutes before spooning into a prepared pie crust or freezing.

2 apples, of your choice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon maple syrup, plus more for drizzling
1 tablespoon flour
1 pinch sea salt

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 375F and spray 8 cups in a muffin pan with nonstick spray. Taking each crescent roll, press into the cup shape of the muffin cups and make sure that you get the dough up the sides as well. It's important to get all of the edges sealed in there!
  • Peel and chop the apples into small pieces and mix with the brown sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup, flour and sea salt.
  • Spoon equal amounts into the cups.
  • Bake for 15 minutes until the edges are browned.
  • Serve hot with a little more maple syrup drizzled on top.

1/3 c brown sugar, not packed
3 Tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp apple pie spice
1/4 tsp salt
6 c sliced ,peeled granny smith apples
1/2 c pure maple syrup or maple flavored syrup(not as good)
1/4 c whipping cream, not whipped
1/2 tsp vanilla
6 small dabs soft butter
1 recipe for double crust 9-inch pie (below)
maple syrup and granulated sugar for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. Make pie crust: Blend flour and salt in mixing bowl. Cut chilled shortening into flour mixture using a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs with pea-sized pieces.Sprinkle with 3 Tablespoons of ice water; mix gently with fork. Add more water by the Tablespoon mixing until dough holds together. Divide dough into 2 balls one slightly larger than the other. Flatten dough into two 1/2 inch disks., wrap in plastic wrap. and chill for 30 minutes. Place larger dish of dough on a piece of wax paper and cover with another sheet of paper. And roll out into circle 2 inches wider than pie plate. Place remove top piece of paper and flip crust over into pie plate. Remove remaining paper. Fill unbaked pie crust with prepared apple filling. Roll top crust the same as bottom crust; lift onto filled pie dish. Trim dough evenly around plate to about 3/4 inches overhang. Press edges together and flute. Cut slits in top crust. Bake according to recipe directions.
  • 2. Pie Filling: In a large bowl, stir together the sugar, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon and pie spice. Add the apple slices and gently toss to coat evenly. Fill pie crust with mixture.
  • 3. In a small bowl: combine Maple syrup, unwhipped cream and vanilla. Pour mixture evenly over apples. Dot with butter. Cover pie with top crust- flute to seal edges, cut or poke steam vents all over top; or make a lattice top for pie, sealing strips to crust edges. Brush top crust with Maple syrup and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in 375^ oven for 25 minutes. Reduce heat to 350^ and bake 25-30 minutes more or until apples are tender and juice are bubbling.

4 ½ cups thinly sliced apples
2 ¼ teaspoons lemon juice
1 ½ cups water
¼ cup honey
¼ cup maple syrup
1 whole vanilla bean, split lengthwise and scraped
¼ cup cornstarch
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Mix apple slices with lemon juice in a large bowl to coat apple slices in juice.
  • Stir water, honey, and maple syrup together in a large pot over medium heat until the honey and syrup are melted into the water; add vanilla bean contents and stir. Mix cornstarch, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg together in a small bowl; stir into the water to dissolve. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.
  • Carefully pour apple slices into the water. Bring water again to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low, cover pot with a lid, and cook at a simmer until apples are tender, 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Remove pot from heat and remove lid to allow apples to cool to room temperature, at least 30 minutes.

4 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups cold milk
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package vanilla instant pudding mix
1 teaspoon maple extract
1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons quick-cooking oats
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, toss apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Cook apple mixture in a large skillet with butter for 10-12 minutes or until tender.
  • Cool and spoon mixture into pastry shell and set aside.
  • In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
  • In another mixing bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set.

pastry for two crust pie, homemade or store bought
6 cups thinly sliced pared tart apples, about 5 medium
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3 tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
6 tbsp. maple flavored syrup

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 425. Prepare pastry. Mix apple slices and brown sugar. Turn into pastry lined pie plate; drizzle with margarine and 3 tablespoons of the syrup. Cover wit top crust that has slits cut in it. Seal and flute. Bake 15 minutes. Make diagonal cuts about 2 inch apart through top crust.
  • 2. Make diagonal cuts crosswise through first cuts, creating a diamond pattern. Pour remaining syrup over top. Cover edge with 2 to 3 inch strip of foil to prevent excessive browning. Bake til crust is deep golden brown, about 25 minutes. Serves 6

Crumb Top ½ cup flour 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar 3 Tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 Tbsp. cinnamon ½ cup unsalted butter, cold, cut into ½ inch cubes, 1 stick ¼ cup rolled oats In large bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt and cinnamon. Mix well. Add butter to flour mixture and mix thoroughly with pastry blender, fork or your fingers til texture is like small peas. Add rolled oats and mix to create a crumbly consistency. Sprinkle crumb topping over a pie, cutie pies or Petit-5's before baking
