MANGO, BERRY & BANANA SMOOTHIE
Tasty, and healthy, too: Coconut water is high in potassium and other electrolytes. And Flaxseeds are a good source of beneficial omega-3s.

PINEAPPLE, ORANGE, MANGO, BANANA SMOOTHIE
I make this delkcious smoothie every single morning, and not only is it an extremely healthy way to start the day but it's also very quick & simple to make! The added protein powder replaces any high-calorie protein that you might normally have on the morning (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc) and it will help keep you full longer than if it were just a pure fruit smoothie. I buy the frozen pineapple and mango chunks from Costco, and each week I buy a bunch of ripe bananas and peel them, cut them in half and throw them in a bag in the freezer. Then it takes me less than 5 mins to make it in the morning. And this has also replaced my morning coffee habit of 2 cups a day because I add 1/8 tsp of caffeine powder to it as well.

Steps:
- Put the strawberries in a blender and mix well.
- Add the mangoes and bananas and blend well (using the ice crush button, if necessary). If the mixture is too dry to process you can already add some of the juice, but not all. The mixture has to become smooth, without chunks of fruit.
- Gradually add the rest of the orange juice, the lemon juice and sugar, and blend well till very smooth, for two minutes or so.

Steps:
- Halve the clementines and squeeze out the juice - you should have about 600ml/1 pint. (This can be done the night before.) Peel the mangoes, slice the fruit away from the stone in the centre, then chop the flesh into rough pieces. Peel and slice the bananas.
- Put the clementine juice, mango flesh, bananas, yogurt and ice cubes into a liquidiser and blend until smooth. Pour into six glasses and serve. (You might need to make this in two batches, depending on the size of your liquidiser.) If you don't add ice cubes, chill in the fridge until ready to serve.

ENERGIZING VEGAN MANGO-BANANA-CHIA SMOOTHIE
This is my go-to breakfast when I need a lot of energy and endurance! Depending how much energy you need, you can add more bananas and mangoes. You can also put an extra 1/2 cup romaine lettuce (or spinach) into the smoothie without changing the taste. If you really like chia seeds (like I do!), you can add an extra tablespoon. I often drink this after eating 1 ounce sunflower seeds or nuts just to complete the meal. Feel free to add or modify anything you please. Delicious and nutritious.
