Steps:

  • Soak 1/2 thinly sliced small white onion in ice water, 15 minutes; drain and pat dry. Whisk 2 tablespoons lime juice, 1 tablespoon orange juice and 1/2 teaspoon honey in a large bowl; whisk in 2 tablespoons olive oil. Add 1/2 head chopped green-leaf lettuce, 1 diced mango, 1/2 diced English cucumber and the onion; season with salt and pepper. Add 1 diced avocado and toss.

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 mangos, cubed
2 avocados, cubed
1/2 small red onion, diced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • In a large serving bowl, whisk together vinegar, lime juice, salt and pepper to taste. Slowly whisk in oil. Toss in mangoes, avocado and red onion to coat. Serve immediately.

3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons tahini paste
2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey)
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil (if you don't have any, skip it)
1/2-1 teaspoon sriracha (depending on how spicy you like)
Ground black pepper
1 clove garlic (peeled)
I small thumb of ginger (peeled, about the size of your thumb)
1 teaspoon water (or more as needed to thin)
1/4 cup oil
15 wonton wrappers (cut into small strips with scissors)
1 cup grated carrots (or matchsticks)
1 cup finely chopped cabbage
4 cups salad greens (any you like)
1 avocado (chopped)
1 mango (chopped)

Steps:

  • Add all dressing ingredients to a blender (if you don't have one, whisk all ingredients and grate or finely chop garlic and ginger.
  • Heat oil over medium-high heat. Cut wonton wrappers into small strips. Fry in oil for a few minutes until golden. Remove and drain on a paper towel. Add salt.
  • Prepare salad ingredients by chopping mango, avocado (see notes above), measuring out the carrots, greens, and cabbage.
  • Add all salad components and dressing to a large bowl and toss. Top with crunchy wonton bits. Serve immediately.

2 teaspoons dry mustard

4 ripe avocados, cubed
2 mango, cubed
lemons, juiced
1 head iceberg lettuce, torn, or to taste
1 ½ cups walnut halves
6 slices crispy cooked bacon, crumbled

Steps:

  • Combine vinegar, oil, sugar, mustard, and pepper in a bowl. Refrigerate dressing until ready to serve.
