I love sharing this dip with my friends. I do want to make sure that I am giving them something healthy to snack on as well. I changed this with some no-fat-added beans and more veggies.

1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) can fat-free refried beans
1 (16 ounce) package light sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package Neufchatel cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
1 large tomato, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 bunch chopped green onions
1 small head iceberg lettuce, shredded
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained

Steps:

  • Blend taco seasoning mix and refried beans in a bowl. Spread mixture onto a large serving platter. Mix sour cream and Neufchatel cheese in a bowl. Spread over refried beans. Top layers with salsa. Place a layer of tomato, green bell peppers, red bell peppers, green onions, and lettuce over salsa. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Garnish with black olives.

1 can (16 ounces) fat-free refried beans
2 cups reduced-fat sour cream
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 plum tomato, chopped
1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat Mexican cheese blend
3 green onions, sliced
1/4 cup sliced ripe olives, drained
Baked tortilla chip scoops

Steps:

  • Spread refried beans into a 9-in. pie plate. Combine sour cream and taco seasoning; spread over beans. Top with tomato, cheese, onions and olives. Serve with chips. Refrigerate leftovers.

This is a scrumptious taco dip. When I use all low-fat ingredients, such as low-fat sour cream and low-fat Cheddar, it still comes out so delicious! Serve with baked tortilla chips for dipping.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) container nonfat sour cream
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
ΒΌ head iceberg lettuce - rinsed, dried, and shredded
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
3 chopped tomatoes
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 (2.25 ounce) can black olives, drained

Steps:

  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning. Spread this mixture in a 9-inch (or a little larger) round serving dish. Top the mixture with lettuce, Cheddar cheese, tomatoes, bell pepper and black olives.
