28 oz can(s) tomato puree
1 lb ground beef
2-15 oz can(s) red kidney beans
2 clove garlic minced
medium onion, diced
1/2 lb spaghetti, cooked
1 Tbsp mccormick's cuban seasoning
cumin
chili powder
1 Tbsp sugar
salt
pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Boil water. Add spaghetti and cook al dente.
  • 2. Brown ground beef, add diced onion and minced garlic. Drain off fat.
  • 3. Add kidney beans (do not drain), and tomato puree.
  • 4. Add sugar (don't skip this), chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper to taste, and Cuban Seasoning. Simmer for 30 minutes on low.
  • 5. Drain cooked spaghetti and stir into chili. Serve hot.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2 cup canned green chili
1/4 cup canned jalapeno
1 lb monterey jack cheese, shredded
wonton wrapper
3 avocados
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon seasoning salt, mix
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 green onions, minced

Steps:

  • Green Chili Wontons.
  • Blend the green chilis, jalepeños and cheese. Put two tablespoons of the cheese mixture on one corner of the wonton wrapper and fold that corner over. Fold the corners on the right and left. Dip the remaining corner - the top one -- in water before folding it down.
  • Deep fry in 350-degree oil for one minute.
  • (Makes 18 wontons).
  • Guacamole Dipping Sauce.
  • Mash the avocados and blend all ingredients thoroughly.
  • Makes about 1 cup.
