LAZY DAY COBBLER
This recipe uses cherries, but I've used blackberries with good results. This is about the simplest cobbler recipe that you will find.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place butter in a 9" x 9" dish.
- Place dish in oven to melt.
- Beat together till smooth, 1 C sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
- Pour over melted butter, but DO NOT STIR!
- Empty can of undrained cherries over batter.
- Sprinkle 1/2 C sugar over cherries.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Batter will rise to the top.

I admit it! I'm a little lazy when it comes to making cobblers. This recipe is so versitile and easy you won't ever want to use another one.It's quick and easy and good.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put butter in a 9 x 13 dish and let it melt.
- 2. While butter is melting in the oven, mix the flour, sugar, and milk together in a bowl.
- 3. After butter is melted, swirl it on the bottom of your dish until it is coated.
- 4. Add the flour mixture on top of the butter.
- 5. Add the fruit of your choice. Pour on top of the flour mixture.
- 6. Bake in oven for 30 minutes or until the crust is brown.
- 7. If you are using fresh fruit instead of canned, you may want to sweeten your fruit before you put it in the cobbler.

- 2. In a bowl beat 1 cup of the sugar,baking powder,salt,and milk to make a smooth batter.Pour over butter(DO NOT STIR TOGETHER!!!)pour pie filling over batter.Sprinkle with remaining 1/3 cup sugar.

- Preheat oven to 375°.
- In a mixing bowl, mix together the oatmeal muffin mix, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
- Cut in the butter using a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the peaches, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Mix well and spoon mixture into an ungreased 8-inch suare baking pan.
