Time 30m

Yield 12 servings

Number Of Ingredients 11

6 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon
1-1/2 lb. ground turkey
1 cup dry bread crumbs
2 medium fresh jalapeño peppers, seeded, diced and divided
2/3 cup frozen corn kernels
5 oz. PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
12 slider buns
1/3 cup shredded lettuce

Steps:

  • Heat grill to 400°F.
  • Once the grill is heated, place bacon slices in single layer in large skillet, then place skillet on grill grate. Cook (depending on thickness of the bacon slices) for 8 to 11 min. or until bacon is almost done. Use tongs to flip each slice of bacon, then cook for an additional 4 to 6 min. or until done.
  • While bacon is cooking, in a medium mixing bowl mix ground turkey, bread crumbs and half of the diced jalapeños until well combined.
  • Divide ground turkey mixture into 12 balls (about 2 oz. each) and use hand to flatten to approximately 1/2-inch thickness.
  • Use your thumb to make a shallow indention in the center of each patty. (This helps to keep the shapes of the patties during the grilling process.)
  • Once bacon is finished cooking, increase the grill temperature to 450°F. Oil the grill grate so patties do not stick, then place turkey patties on the grill grate. Grill for approximately 5 minutes, then flip and grill other side for an additional 3 minutes or until done. (Burgers should be cooked to 165°F before removing from grill.)
  • While burgers are on the grill, heat frozen corn according to package instructions. Then, place corn in a medium mixing bowl. Add PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder and remaining diced jalapeños; mix until well combined. Set aside.
  • Cut bacon slices in half. To assemble sandwiches, place turkey burgers on bottom halves of slider buns, then top with bacon and lettuce. Lastly, spread jalapeño-cream cheese mixture onto cut sides of top halves of buns; place over sandwiches.
