Easy recipe for the best Tri Color Italian Pasta Salad. This meal is full of fresh vegetables and only takes 20 minutes to put together from start to finish.

12 oz box tri color rotini pasta
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
3 stalks of celery (finely chopped)
1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes (halved)
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

Steps:

  • Prepare your pasta as directed on box. Drain and place pasta in a big serving bowl.
  • Add salad dressing, celery, tomatoes, olives, basil and oregano. Stir to fully combine. Add mozzarella cheese on top and mix again.
  • Cover bowl with lid or plastic wrap and place in refrigerator to chill (at least an hour, can be overnight).
  • Remove from refrigerator and stir to freshen up. If salad looks a little dry (especially if you let it sit overnight), add a tablespoon (or 2) of salad dressing and stir. Serve and enjoy!

2 pounds uncooked tri-color spiral pasta
10 ounces diced processed American cheese
1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian-style salad dressing

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  • Toss cooled pasta with cheese, broccoli and Italian-style dressing to taste. Serve immediately.

¾ pound Italian salami, finely diced
½ green bell pepper, sliced
½ red bell pepper, sliced
½ red onion, chopped
1 cup Italian-style salad dressing
1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives
8 ounces small fresh mozzarella balls (ciliegine)
3 (.7 ounce) packages dry Italian-style salad dressing mix, or to taste
½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil; cook rotini at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes; drain and rinse with cold water until cool.
  • Combine pasta, salami, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, onion, salad dressing, olives, and mozzarella cheese in a large bowl. Mix dry salad dressing into pasta; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

12 ounces tri-color spiral pasta
2 1/2 cups broccoli florets
1 cup mozzarella cheese
3/4 cup pepperoni slice
1/4 cup red bell pepper
1/4 cup green bell pepper
1/3 cup red onion
3/4 cup Italian dressing
1/4 cup black olives
1/4 cup green olives

Steps:

  • Boil pasta , drain and rinse with cool water.
  • steam broccoli florets lightly.
  • Slice bell pepper into thin strips.
  • Slice onion thinly.
  • Cut pepperoni slices in halves or quarters.
  • Cut whole olives in half - I used green olives with pimento.
  • mix all ingredients together and add italian dressing.
  • stir to combine and refrigerate for an hour or longer.
  • add more italian dressing if desired.
