MOM'S CHEAP AND EASY GOULASH

Mom's Cheap and Easy Goulash image

My Mom used to make this for us all of the time. This is a quick, inexpensive and delicious one pot meal. She always served it with homemade garlic rolls, but I love to serve it with Recipe #256914.

This is my old family farm recipe. I put together in the 50's ! YEP! Row crops, soy beans and corn. All the ingredients are cooked then put together, during the day. Put in the oven (covered) on low till dinner time. Served with a salad and Italian bread....you have a wonderful, and satisfying meal. On the farm this saved a lot...

INDIANA FARMHOUSE GOULASH, QUICK AND EASY

Indiana Farmhouse Goulash, Quick and Easy image

This was a once a week supper when I was in high school. Its quick and easy. You can vary the taste with chili powder or garlic. You can add other veggies, if you like. Or top with cheese. Its just a quick basic supper Mom relied on and, when we were kids, we loved it. I still make it once a month or so. Good comfort food.
