INSTANT ICED CAFE MOCHA LATTE

I make this using decaf coffee and my 7 year old loves it...and I do too! An easy, awesome summer drink.

1/3 cup instant coffee granules (decaf if desired)
1/2 cup boiling water
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups cold water
1 quart cold lowfat chocolate milk
2 -4 cups cold white milk

Steps:

  • Mix coffee granules and boiling water.
  • Add sweetened condensed milk and cold water until completely blended.
  • Mix in chocolate milk and add cold milk (add white milk in amount to desired flavor; I usually use more than 4 cups, especially if the chocolate milk being used is very dark).
  • Chill at least one hour and serve over ice.

1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated 2% milk or 1 (12 fluid ounce) can fat-free evaporated milk
4 teaspoons 100% pure instant coffee granules (more or less to taste)
3 teaspoons granulated sugar
ice cube

Steps:

  • Combine evaporated milk, instant coffee and sugar in 2-cup glass measure.
  • Microwave on HIGH (100%) power for 1 minute; stir well.
  • Pour over ice cubes.

3/4 cup sugar
2 cups strong brewed coffee or 2 cups espresso
2 cups half-and-half cream, divided (or use full-fat milk)
chocolate syrup

Steps:

  • In a large freezer-safe mixing bowl combine the sugar and hot coffee; stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Add in 1 cup half and half cream; cover and chill for 9 hours.
  • Let thaw slightly in the refrigerator; add in the remaining 1 cup half and half cream; beat with and electric mixer until smooth.
  • Place in individual glass serving bowls or cups.
  • Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Delicious!
