ICED COFFEE SLUSH
We have a tradition of hosting a game night during the holidays with nine other couples. Our guests come for the camaraderie, but they sure love washing down delicious buffet items with this sweet slush. Even non-coffee drinkers enjoy it.-Iola Egle, Bella Vista, Arkansas

Steps:
- In a freezer-safe bowl, stir coffee and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Add the milk, cream and vanilla; freeze. Remove from the freezer several hours before serving. Chop mixture until slushy; serve immediately.

Steps:
- In a large freezer-safe mixing bowl combine the sugar and hot coffee; stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add in 1 cup half and half cream; cover and chill for 9 hours.
- Let thaw slightly in the refrigerator; add in the remaining 1 cup half and half cream; beat with and electric mixer until smooth.
- Place in individual glass serving bowls or cups.
- Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
- Serve immediately.
- Delicious!

Got this recipe from a fellow student when I was in grad school. Nice to sit back and relax with. Very refreshing, but definitely not for the kids!
