This is a good low carb dip, when I make it I omit the onions and use Half and Half instead of milk to lower the carb count further. This is very good with celery sticks :)

1 c chopped pecans
2 tsp butter
16 oz cream cheese softened
4 Tbsp milk- i use half & half
5 oz dried beef, minced--rinse before using
1 tsp garlic salt
1 c sour cream
4 tsp onions, minced

Steps:

  • 1. Saute pecans in butter and set aside
  • 2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly
  • 3. Place in a 1 1/2 quart baking dish (sprayed with Pam)
  • 4. Top with pecans
  • 5. Bake at 350 for 30 mins or until bubbly

1 cup chopped pecans
2 teaspoons butter
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 tablespoons milk
5 ounces minced dried chipped beef
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 cup sour cream
4 tablespoons minced onions
crackers or breadstick

Steps:

  • Saute the pecans in butter and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix all remaining ingredients thoroughly.
  • Place in a 1 1/2 quart baking dish and top with pecans.
  • Chill until serving time.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • Serve hot with crackers or small bread sticks.

16 oz pkg softened cream cheese
4 T. milk or white wine (I used milk because I had no white wine on hand.)
5 oz dried beef, minced
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
4 tsp onion, minced

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Place in 1 & 1/2 qt.baking dish or 10 in pie plate: Chill until serving time. Bake at 350 for 20-25 min. Serve with Melba toast or crackers.
