1 lb ground chuck
1 lb ground sausage
1 cup picante sauce
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (6 ounce) package cream cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can Rotel Tomatoes
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
6 green onions
1 can olive, sliced (black or green)
1/2-1 cup nuts (of choice)
1 can refried beans

Steps:

  • Fry the burger and sausage together, drain fat.
  • Add this along with the remaining ingredients in a crock pot and stir to mix.
  • Put on high for 30 minutes to melt the cheese, and then cook on low for 1 hour.
  • Serve with tortilla chips.

My Mom used to make this dip sometimes for her bridge club on Saturday nights. I would love eating the leftovers on Sunday :-) It may not look too appetizing, but trust me, it tastes great!! This dip was created before crock pots and microwaves were popular (just the good ol' stove and oven)

1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 c onion,chopped
8 oz tomato sauce
1/4 c ketchup
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 c grated parmesan cheese
1 clove minced garlic
1 tsp oregano, dried
1 tsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Saute beef until browned. Drain drippings. Add onion and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients and stir over low heat until the cheese melts. Keep warm and serve with corn chips or other chips. (remember, it may not look too appetizing, but trust me, it tastes delicious)

1 lb hamburger
1 cup chopped onion
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 (2 lb) box Velveeta cheese, cubed
2 cans diced green chilies
1 (16 ounce) jar thick & chunky salsa

  • Fry up the meats and drain off the fat.
  • Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook for 1 hour, stirring often.

1/2 cup Grated Parmesean Cheese
1 teaspoon Oregano
1 teaspoon Sugar
Salt - to taste
Pepper - to taste

Steps:

  • Saute beef until browned, drain. Put back on stove and add onion and cook until tender. Add remaining ingrediants and stir over low heat until cheese melts. Spoon into a chafing dish and keep warm; serve with corn chips.
