2 (6.5 ounce) cans minced clams, drained
1 teaspoon lemon juice
½ cup butter
1 small onion, minced
½ green bell pepper, minced
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 dash hot pepper sauce
1 pinch ground cayenne pepper
½ cup dried bread crumbs, seasoned
½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 pinch paprika

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine minced clams and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Bring mixture to a simmer. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  • In a medium-size saucepan, combine butter, onion, green bell pepper, parsley, oregano, hot sauce, and red pepper. Stir vegetables over a medium-low heat until butter or margarine is melted. Mix in the clams and breadcrumbs.
  • Pour mixture into an ovenproof baking dish and top with 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese and sprinkle with paprika.
  • Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.

1/4 lb butter
1/2 cup onion
1 teaspoon oregano
1 dash Tabasco sauce
1/4 cup parsley
2 (8 ounce) cans minced clams (not drained)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3/4 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs

Steps:

  • In a large frying pan, simmer all ingredients except the bread crumbs.
  • Add Italian bread crumbs.
  • Put in a small baking dish and coat top with mozzarella or swiss cheese.
  • Sprinkle with paprika and parmesan cheese.
  • Bake 15 minute at 400 degrees COVERED.

This is like stuffed clams topped with melted cheese, without the mess of the shells. I almost always double the recipe because it goes so fast. I have shared this recipe many times and I hope you enjoy it as well.

2 can(s) minced clams with juice
1-2 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 c butter
1/4 c red or green pepper,chopped
1/4-1/2 c onion,chopped
1 clove garlic,chopped
1/2-1 tsp oregano
1 tsp hot sauce
3/4 c seasoned bread crumbs
1 Tbsp chopped parsley(optional)
1 c or more of your favorite cheese(s) shredded (i use parmesan and mozzarella mixed).

Steps:

  • 1. Mix clams and their own juice with lemon juice in saucepan and bring to boil then let gently simmer for 10 minutes. In another pan, saute onions, garlic and pepper in 1/4 cup butter. Add parsley(optional), oregano and hot pepper sauce. When tender, remove from heat and add bread crumbs. Add clam mixture and pour into flat baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika and your cheeses(I tend to over cheese things, I think I use about 2 cups((8oz)) cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until cheese is very melted. Serve hot with crackers.

2 (6.5 ounce) cans minced clams, drained with juice reserved
⅓ cup lemon juice
¾ cup seasoned bread crumbs
⅓ cup minced onion
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 dash ground black pepper
garlic powder to taste
6 tablespoons melted margarine
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
paprika to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, slowly cook and stir minced clams in the lemon juice until heated and tender, abou 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Transfer clams to a medium baking dish. Mix in seasoned bread crumbs, onion, parsley, oregano, black pepper, garlic powder, margarine and approximately 3/4 of the reserved clam juice. Top with grated Parmesan cheese and paprika.
  • Bake clam mixture in the preheated oven 30 minutes, or until lightly browned.

1 small onion, chopped
1/4 green or red pepper, diced
1/4 lb velveeta cheese, cubed
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 can(s) minced clams with juice, drained
1 Tbsp whole milk
4 Tbsp ketchup

Steps:

  • 1. Put butter in a small pan and saute the onion and pepper.
  • 2. Put all of the remaining ingredients in the top of a double boiler, along with the onions and peppers. Turn heat on medium high and stir to incorporate all ingredients, making sure the cheese is completely melted.
  • 3. Serve with your choice of crackers or cocktail rye slices.

1 (20 ounce) loaf round French bread
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons grated onion
2 tablespoons beer
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
½ teaspoon salt
3 (6.5 ounce) cans minced clams, drained

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  • Cut off top of bread and set aside. Hollow loaf, leaving 1 1/2 to 2 inch shell. Reserve the bread that you pull out of the loaf.
  • In a medium-size bowl, combine cream cheese, onion, beer, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, and salt. Beat well. Fold clams into the mixture. Pour clam mixture into the hollowed out bread bowl, cover the bread bowl with the bread top. Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil.
  • Bake at 250 degrees F (120 degrees C) for 3 hours. Use the leftover bread torn from inside the loaf to make bread cubes to dip with. Toast bread cubes with dip during last 5 minutes of baking time.

1/2 lb. diced smoked bacon
13 oz. minced clams
1 diced onion
1 bunch of scallions
2 diced garlic cloves
2 diced shallots
1 lemon, juiced
8 oz. Boursin cheese
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. Madeira wine
Ritz cracker crumbs
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Render bacon, add onions, red peppers, shallots and garlic. Cook until translucent, deglaze with Madeira wine. Remove from heat and let cool in a pan. In a separate bowl mix the Boursin, cream cheese, lemon juice, scallions and clams. Stir in the cooled pepper and bacon mixture. Pour into a baking dish and top with the Ritz cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
